The Kirschnek family has a long history of making stringed instruments. Originally from Schoenbach in Bohemia, the family was forced to relocate when the Sudeten Germans were no longer welcome in Czechoslovakia. Settling, like many from Schoenbach in the Erlangen-Bubenreuth area, they restarted their business and continue to make instruments there to this day. Our del Gesu pattern instrument on offer is a master model violin made with sumptuous woods. Tonally it has velvet like tones and is rich and warm. Golden Music are frequent customers of the Kirschnek family and have had an afternoon picnic in their beautiful backyard forest.
