Teacher of the Month: Jule Hillmann
Jule Hillmann is a professional German flutist and a recent addition to the team here at West Colfax Music Academy. She studied flute at the Hochschule für Musik in Hannover and holds a bachelor’s degree in music as well as a Master of Education for Music and Math K-12. Already during her studies, she gained extensive experience in orchestras and ensembles, among others in the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Hannover and the Asambura-Ensemble, where she was active until recently. She also has over 10 years of teaching experience with children as well as adult students. She is particularly committed to helping her students achieve their individual goals as well as having fun and develop a passion for playing the flute and music in general. Recently, one of her students successfully auditioned for the Jeffco Honor Band. We look forward to seeing Jule continue to succeed as well as help her students succeed.
