The Building

West Colfax Academy is located at 10395 W Colfax Avenue.  We share the same building as Golden Music, a family-owned music store that sells, rents, and repairs an extensive array of quality instruments. Hence our school's full name - West Colfax Academy at Golden Music!

We started off with one student in the owner's home and have grown to hundreds of students in a 10,000 square foot space. The school is located on the second and third floors of the building. 

The Store

Located on the first floor, Golden Music offers a wide array of instruments, books, and accessories. The front desk is also staffed full time to assist our students and clients. Learn more about Golden Music here!

The School

Welcome to West Colfax Academy! Our school is located on the second and third floors of the building and is accessible by stairs or elevator.

We have a spacious waiting area for students and parents to relax in. We also have an open-door policy, meaning parents can sit in on lessons at any time!

The Classrooms

West Colfax Academy has over 20 teachers that teach woodwinds, brass, strings, percussion, piano, voice, and beyond. To house our many lessons, we have over a dozen classrooms available for students. Our rooms range from cozy nooks to large spaces for ensembles. Students and teachers also LOVE that our rooms have windows that let in natural light. Plus, we have some amazing views!
