This last Fall, Zachary Robarge hosted the West Colfax Jazz Band. This program is designed to help students gain an understanding of Jazz as a style as well as an introduction into Improvisation. Justin Collins on trumpet, Macie Newton on Flute, Trace Jeffery-Ortiz on Keys and Micha Brooks on Baritone. These students played the tunes, Bessie's blues, Autumn Leaves, So What and Straight No Chaser. Special Shout out to the teachers that helped with the performance, Shaun Lebsack on Drums, Sondra Robinson on Bass, Ryne Mills on Guitar.
